Keep in mind that difficulty with anger can come from different sources. It can come from trauma in early childhood. It can come from grief and loss. It can also come from substance abuse. It may even come from misperceptions due to miscommunication with significant others. Loss of anger control is often the symptom and not the problem. If the problem isn’t identified and addressed, then people usually continue to experience the symptom: loss of control of self when angry.
I always begin with making a careful assessment so that you can have a good idea about what the source of the problem really is. It’s included in the service, so it won’t cost you more.
Please give me a call. I’d love to talk to you about how I can help you.
